The Southeast Region is one of seven
regions within the structure if the
International Association of Black
Professional Fire Fighters (IABPFF)
that began in 1970. It has a rich
history of being the front-runner in
leadership and organization
initiatives for the IABPFF
The region consists of 9 states and
the District of Columbia: Alabama,
Florida, Georgia, Maryland,
Mississippi, North Carolina, South
Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia
with affiliates in each of the
states.
The first Regional Director was
Samuel S. Wilson from Baltimore,
MD-1970-1972. The SER has enjoyed
the leadership of the following
